Although I like to spend as much time as I can in the constituency, for most of the working week, I have to be down in Westminster. 

The job of an MP is split between working in the constituency and representing constituents' concerns in Parliament.  Parliament is responsible for making and changing the laws of the United Kingdom and for checking the work of the Government.

But I’m really keen to support local young people’s understanding of Parliament and our democracy. That’s why I always enjoy bringing Parliament to life.
