Ever since the fire, I have worked closely with Carleton High because it’s important the school got help not just to rebuild the buildings hit by the fire but also to get great facilities throughout the new school. 

It was great to see the exciting new plans and talk to pupils and staff about what they want for their revamped school. The ideas being put forward look excellent. It’s clear that pupils, parents and staff have all played a part in shaping a new school which will be a real boost to Pontefract.
