I am the grandmother of Luke Lambert Brown, he is 11years old and he has just started at Croften academy. My daughter wanted him to go to that school because they have a unit for visual impaired children and as Luke is visually sighted it would be the best school for him. My daughter is on her own holding down a responsible full time job and she used to drop Luke off at a childminding and pick him up at night /his twin sister also went there, they have been going there since they were babies. The problem is Luke is taken to school and back home by taxi provided by the council but they will not drop him off at the child minder and has my daughter does not finish work until 5pm she as no idea what she can do .

She appealed to the council for them to change their minds and drop him of at the child minder but they have turned it down. My daughter is a great mother bringing the children up single handed while working full time with no family living near so what does she do give up her job and go on benefits because Luke cannot be dropped off at the child minders.

I live in Spain and I have had to come over to help here until a solution can be made. Yours sincerely Elaine Brown

Recently heard that the introduction of parking permits is to be introduced in my area wf11 if this is the case are government looking at a reduction of road tax for drivers, if I have to pay to park outside my own home then this system is totally against the working man, insurance for our cars in this area have already hit us in the pocket, yet no pay rise to help us achieve paying all the add ons we receive lately. C,mon government and get your acts together , it’s time to help the honest British worker not kick us in the teeth yet again,
