Freeston students visit parliament

Freeston visit to parliamentThis week pupils from Freeston Academy in Normanton visited parliament. 

The students met Yvette in Parliament and quizzed her about economic policy, as well as how parliament works, and Yvette’s job as Normanton’s MP.

They then sat in the House of Commons gallery and watched live as Chancellor of the Exchequer and Shadow Chancellor (and neighbouring MP) Ed Balls debated new economic figures and budget plans for the next year.
